Further investigations lead me to notice that, when the noise happens there is a change in stream frequency.
Watching, I found that normally the Momentary freq is a bit less than 48000 (0x5.ffxx)
As soon as the noise appears and until it ends, the frequency is reported as 0x6.xxxx.
This behaviour can be triggered periodically if I change the USB Audio driver in the DSP chip, forcing SYNC mode instead of ASYNC for the playback endpoint. In that case the noise appears for about 1.8 s at each 14.5 s.
This seems some issue on the data transfer rate. Any idea is welcome as I don't have many more resources and the issue is getting serious on the product.
