One challenge is it's not always easy to find Raspberry Pi posts saying what the USD pricing is, and hard to establish what those should be from the prices official US Resellers are selling at.

As just one example, those US resellers have the official 1m and 2m micro-HDMI cables priced at -

• CanaKit : $5.95 / $7.45
• Vilros : $5.00 / $7.50
• Pi Shop : $5.65 / -
• ChicagoDist : $5.00 / $7.50

I would guess the 1m cable is meant to be $5.00, the 2m $7.50. It's not clear to me why CanaKit and PiShop are charging more for the 1m cable.

And BTW, all (?) Raspberry Pi links to buy from MicroCenter appear to be delivering "Forbidden" results.

And, though perhaps outside or RPL's control, why does the Vilros URL refer to "official-raspberry-pi-foundation-micro-hdmi-to-hdmi-cable-1m-white" ?
